Is there such thing as a hot name?

Hmm havent posted for a very long time (again). So much so the there has literally been a daily view of one, so when i make a joke that only my mum reads my blog i’m not even joking. Sad times. Anywho, how have you all been? I’m deep into my sem 2, life’s a bit normal though. I’ve had a lot of , ‘this is so going in my blog’ moments but i’ve never actually gotten to it, until now. gogo? go.

 

In my math lecture i’ve noticed that there is this fella. I would probably guess that he was a fob, not that i’ve ever heard him speak. Nothing wrong with that. However i noticed that he wears the same OUTFIT, not same top or same bottoms, but some OUTFIT, every. single. day. literally, every. day. This is quite amazing. It was a grey hoodie with a grey printing on it, cant exactly remember what the pattern was. And a red maroon ish cargo pant. The two possible mind sets i’ve thought that he has employed are, one, hes bought a few grey hoodies and a few red pants and he shuffles them up daily. Or he only got one set and he wears them and washes them daily. Either way he has created his own uni uniform. I found this strategy to be rather strange. I didnt really see any benefits of this. I should talk to him one day, find out what hes doing.

My family, as one of the three billion families who rushed over to the recently opened costcos, shopped there last weekend. For those who asked “how costcos?” well there are sales, things are cheaper for sure. But other than groceries and food, everything else sold there is very general, they do not stock a large variety. For example, the chip flavours: they do not have every flavour there, and they’ve only got one flavour per brand basically, and the prices are approxiately 50c cheaper for the 425g bags. So if you buy enough you will make back the 60 dollar annual membership fee. But if you shop for the groceries then you iwll be saving a lot. And yeah everything is super sized. ANYHOW, the real thing i wanted to talk about was the trolley physics. So the ‘normal’ trolley or the i’ve only encountered at woolies, target, big w etc, are 4wd. Meaning all 4 wheels are on their own hing. So essentially there is no front to the trolley. Costco trolleys however are 2wd, like a car the front two wheels are 360 rotatable, but the back two are fixed in a parallel position. This was very interesting. I was playing with the costco trolleys and i noticed that it was much easier to control because unexpected behaviour didnt happen as much as the woolies trolleys. Costco alleys are bigger however the trolleys are bigger too and there are more people. But the one thing that was inconvenient is that sometimes when there was no room and you wanted to strife left or right you’d have to lift your trolley by the handle and move the back wheels left or right yourself.

 

Yesterday i went to a mate’s party. And every since uni meeting new people wasnt an uncommon thing. So one thing i noticed and i dont know if thats true but heres my current observation, Girls named julie are of an above averaged attractiveness. Thinking now, i’ve met probably 4 julies who are 2010 graduates. Of the 4, 3 are above average attractiveness. If we include all the julies i know then the ratio drops to less than 50%. So my original hypothesis doesnt stand. But this was rather interesting, is there such thing as a hot name? Please tell me of your findings i am keen to know.

And thats about it for this entry, its 1.42 i’ve got a brown snake to murder catch ya later (probably gonna be like 5 months late again)
